First you need to know the current host name, to see this run this command
Then if you want to change the host name, you can do it in a file named hostname of this address /etc/sysconfig/network. Run this command:
And then change the hostname.
/etc/sysconfig/network NETWORKING=yes HOSTNAME="new.somedomain.com" GATEWAY="192.168.0.1" GATEWAYDEV="eth0" FORWARD_IPV4="yes"
Or run commands
sysctl kernel.hostname sysctl kernel.hostname=NEW_HOSTNAME
